Seriously, from a business standpoint it sounds like eventually regular bubble wrap will be phased out. They really want to sell these machines for a thousand to five thousand a pop to inflate the new bubble wrap. On top of that money they will probably save hundreds of millions on shipping costs, when you can take shipping down to one fiftieth of the original size, that means tons of weight off the truck or tons more product on one truck, that means less money spent on getting product to market. That's several million in savings or billions in profit.
