If we are buying gizmos/gadgets that connect to the Web or have Bluetooth capability, there is the risk we or our data could be compromised. It's that simple. If we can not or will not accept that, we need to avoid these types of devices to begin with. For everyone else (me included), we will take the necessary precautions to reduce risk, minimize data leakage, or just go about our day without worrying about this stuff. ;-)
