Border officer lied about being U.S. citizen, was actually born in Mexico: officials
A U.S. border officer who is a Mexican native claimed he was born in Texas and illegally obtained a job with the law enforcement agency charged with protecting America’s borders, authorities said. Marco Antonio De la Garza Jr., an officer in southern Arizona, faces criminal charges for allegedly telling U.S. Customs and Border Protection and others in the government that he was born in Texas.

He forged proof of citizenship.
He provided inadequate proof of citizenship, like maybe a drivers license from a sanctuary state, and it was accepted.
