    I kinda like the juxtaposition of a high-res Mario in some settings that are more akin to a AAA FPS. Mostly because it's kinda quirky when done that way.

    A friend of mine shared this with me, and when he said he felt that making a Mario game with level textures that detailed would never be necessary, so I just dropped this idea in his lap:

    Super Mario Galaxy on Unreal Engine 4.

    That is something that would be amazing to see with a more powerful engine and system.

      Ye I think it probably would, but also i wonder if that kind of game is better off with their current style. I mostly use PC to game, but I do also own a Wii U because of the amazing exclusive games they have. And to be honest I do absolutely love playing the mario, pikmin etc.. games because of their fun style. Most of the games I play on PC are so gritty and serious so it kind of feels like a bit of a break.

      But ye Galaxy in unreal would be pretty irresistible to try out.
