I think /u/utesred pretty clearly summarised why I like it here. I feel like I've only seen one or two comments so far that are negative in nature - and I don't mean that they disagree or something (I've seen plenty of those) - I mean comments that just don't add to the conversation. It makes me feel like I should think about what I'm about to post and should try to add to the discussion as much as possible. (and I think I've seen that attitude through the posts of other people. Sadly this'll mean that less posts will be made, but of higher quality, so I think it's worth it in the end.)

It's hard for people to see it that way though when they feel it threatens their own security. Side-by-side comparisons make that look ridiculous, but people that have never had their moneys threatened in any real way are spoonfed that this will mean no jobs for them, and their daughters being raped and sons not working ever. It's super frustrating, especially since I personally know some refugees - trust me, if they had another option they would gladly take it. I was talking to a guy who escaped war ~15 years ago. He's still trying to get residency - just being allowed to live here, after all that time. In the meantime he's got a brother in the US, a sister in the UK, and other family elsewhere. It's nuts.

Is there a list of "is in the plans" things? reading this thread I've seen mobile apps, private tribe, and a bunch of other cool things. It'd be neat to see a list with, if I'm not asking too much, progress reports on separate items.

Furthermore - is there or will there ever be any plans into making Snapzu open source?
