I love the reaction from the feds this AM:

Militants: "I am prepared to die here, here is my tearful goodbye to our families." sob

Feds: "These guys are full of themselves, they are not that big a deal, we'll just arrest them when they leave to get supplies." looks behind "Hey Bob, did you bring donuts?"

This is the first respectful and potentially reasonable use of a militia I have heard of in my lifetime. The base of their argument is defense of state rights and the rights of the people residing there. I feel for them. I also believe that this statement will likely score my name on some list that will make it hard for me to fly.

I say we start a rumor that two of these people are FBI/ATF moles, bent on destroying the movement from the inside. Surround the place from a distance, float some vague unattributed statements about a new COINTELPRO type initiative based in NV, have the FBI strenuously deny it in public every few weeks, and otherwise take advantage of their gullible, paranoid-conspiracy worldview. Up against their own psychoses for an indeterminate amount of time, they don't stand a chance.
