Unexplained Earth Phenomenon: The Pink Lake Hillier, Western Australia
It can only be seen from the sky since it is prohibited to walk on Middle Island in Western Australia. The reason for this permanent pink color remains undetermined but the best scientific hypothesis seems to linked to Dunaliella Salina, a green microalgae, and to halobacteria in the water.
