I remember seeing these all over Europe and I always wondered what if someone had no money? Would they shit themselves?
Most people just go in the bushes if they really got to go. Although I can't imagine what an elderly person would do if they had no money to go.
For the most part pay toilets in public areas were long gone by the 70's. Local and state governments, mainly boards of health, mandated free public restrooms in most establishments. I suppose that the remaining holdouts were influenced by this organization. I certainly never heard of them during, then, my young adult years.
Ughh I'd hate to work in one of these.
I'm pretty sure most people would hate to work in one of these lol
