I'm just wondering, say if your windshield gets a crack from a small flying object, would the glass just break because of the vibrations?
I'm sure they took this into consideration while creating the technology. Car manufacturers usually do heavy testing for all scenarios when it comes to making innovations safe products, as a shattered windshield at 70mph would be disastrous. On the other hand, I wonder how dependable such a technology is, when my wipers break or get squeaky, its very easy to fix/replace them. This on the other hand could be a nightmare to find a mechanic to fix.
