I agree their products are pretty good. I personally don't like their icon, but that is hardly a reason to change the brand name. I think a little change is good for them though. After all they are competing with companies like Razer, Roccat, Corsair who probably all got more young fans (due to their aggressive gaming branding).
Probably what the Logitech execs are thinking, I would imagine.
I love logitech products, and the only thing I don't really use from them is keyboards, because I prefer my mechanical das keyboard.
I wasn't aware they had an "Image problem".
Seriously, they're my go-to devices for decent low (relative) cost peripherals to be honest.

Yup ... I'm a Logitech fanboy myself ... all my input devices are Logitech devices.
Probably not an image problem with those in computing, but I guess they felt sales were lacking with the younger crowd, maybe?
I think they're a classic and well-known choice for people already interested in computers, but for the younger crowd and perhaps just the general public they're seen as perhaps somewhat dated. I really don't know though. But hopefully the makeover helps!

Nice. I've always really enjoyed their products. I use a trackball and Logitech has consistently had some of the best trackballs around, and they don't ignore us (few) trackball users.
Hopefully this will bring some more attention to their brand. They do good work.
Yeah, I've always loved the quality of their products. But I can see why people might have thought of their brand as "boring."
