If it's not his jurisdiction, why is he threatening to arrest him right after saying that? This cop is just a power hungry prick, and there are too many others like him out there.

Guy made the right choice to walk away rather than pull an "I am being detained?" type deal. He showed that the sheriff was not acting in the right, but didn't risk cheapening the cause be letting something stupid slip.
Very true. By taking the peaceful route, he let the cop dig his own grave. Telling him off might have been satisfying, but seeing him eat his words is much more so.
Had he said that word
