Oh wow! That's incredible. My dad was actually born on the island, which was part of the reason for the trip. I bet you've been to the church, or at least in the surrounding area! That would be fantastic! I would have been born there as well, but my mother was too pregnant to fly. But I spent the first couple years of my life there. Pooping, sleeping, and eating un-fresh veggies with VERY fresh fish. Well, as much as babies do, anyway.
I actually lived on Adak when I was very young (we're talking a few months old here). I wonder if I've been here.
