Ever since we got a slow cooker last year we have been making a lot of ribs and pork recipes. I may give this one a try as well.

The calories in this are unreal!

I just did the calculations - assuming this serves 4 people, it's approx. 730 cal/serving - probably delicious, but definitely something I'll stay away from.

Total nutrition value is approx.: 2914 Cal, 209g Carbs, 211g Fat, 165g Protein, 3264mg Sodium, 40g sugar (for anyone interested)

I still prefer to start with a roux to make delicious cheese sauce with several cheeses, add bacon or pancetta, and bake with pasta in the oven.... maybe I could adapt my recipe to the slow-cooker though, I do love my slow cooker

I'm a huge slowcooker fan! I actually just took over /t/slowcooking two weeks ago, and I'm trying to get it started, if you have any favorite recipes, please do post them!

I did not know about this tribe. I joined and added a couple of snaps. I am also a big slow cooker fan.
