Mojang Head: No Reason Minecraft Is Not On Wii U And 3DS, Just Has Not Happened Yet
Mojang COO Vu Bui spoke frankly about Minecraft’s future, and Bui is forthright about wanting Minecraft to be on everything. With that in mind, he is seeking out new platforms to accommodate everyone using something different. Here’s his exact words on bringing it to Nintendo platforms: "I’ve never heard a reason why we haven’t ended up on Wii U or 3DS. It just hasn’t happened yet."

Unfortunately, these are the only systems I wanted to play MC on. I think it could play very easily on the Wii U Gamepad, plus I like the idea of a full Minecraft game on the go for 3ds.
As do I. I don't believe it's out of the question yet, but we'll have to wait to see if either Nintendo or Mojang will make a move to get this off the ground. It would do amazingly well of course, no doubt about that.
Shame. It would be cool to play it on the go with friends.
We may still get it, unfortunately Nintendo has been playing mum until recently but that doesn't mean it's out of the question.
