When I was in University, we formed a fake political party based on mandatory naptimes and free beer. We got elected into the student council and proceeded to prank them by doing things like serve them sauerkraut while wearing bondage gear. We did performances like staged a mock crucifixion, reenacted Jonestown, formed a chain-gang on campus mall and erected a 20 foot golden penis (Shaft of the Year Award) at the office of the chancellor. Anyway we made the papers and the local news a few times and our fearless leader ended up doing the talk show circuit for a couple of days. Somewhere hidden on the web is an image of me whipping him in dominatrix gear during one of those student council meetings. That's my story of fame.

Three and a half hours before he was scheduled to die by lethal injection, Richard Glossip won a two-week reprieve on Wednesday from an Oklahoma appeals court, which said it wanted time to study new evidence filed by his lawyers the day before.

The closer Oklahoma comes to killing Richard Glossip, the more reason there is to believe the state is about to execute an innocent man.
