A businessman from my city proposed to open a convent that has been left unused for 2½ years to Syrian refugees. There remain paperwork and bureaucratic processes to be done, but as soon as I read the news in my local newspaper I've volunteered to give some of my time to help in anyway I can, since I live right in front of it.
