This is insane! Very strange.
I keep thinking of Futurama and Nixon golfing.
This may actually be worse than death.
What, a head transplant? Considering the guy is slowly losing control of his muscles, I don't blame him for risking it all. I hope his operation is a success.
Agreed. I find it incredible to be alive in a time where we get to see this kind of thing attempted (even possibly succeed! ). It really is science fiction come to life. What an amazing time to be alive.
Imagine if this does succeed. It'll set in motion the era of performing and perfecting head transplants... Almost makes you wonder where the line will be drawn on how many one person could undergo... Theoretically a person could just keep transplanting their head to a new body when the old body gets too old and live forever...
I'm honestly hoping full-conversion cyborgs or human to a.i. conciousness transfer is created with some decent rate of success within my lifetime. I would definitely become digital, given the chance.
Do you want a cyborg apocalypse? Because that's how you get a cyborg apocalypse.
Just kidding. That's a crazy cool concept. You could go full Bicentennial Man like Robin Williams.
I'm assuming I'll be old as shit when it happens, so getting a new body that I could run and jump around in like a young person sounds awesome! I could finally try parkour...
Its a good possibility. I am cautiously optimistic things will work out.
