    That my friends is why the "beta trial" of data caps, aka "usage plans," has been expanded to most states. It doesn't matter if you spend the $300 on their 2gbps services or have the 50mbps service, you get 1TB. Cable alternatives in HD running 4 hours a day for a month would be 500GB+ of that total. Which means Comcast is probably getting their money back even if you cut the cord and only have them as an option. Same reason their biggest competitor AT&T also has a data cap unless you have a triple play.
