Future technology meets shitty old infrastructure.
Of course, it is more attractive to invest in tech than in building roads, so the next thing will be AI that can navigate decaying roads. Eventually leading to hyper-intelligent cars that can navigate the wilderness, while the 99.9% of people who can’t afford to buy them live in that wilderness.
