Wasn't one of the selling points of bitcoin supposed to be that it wasn't prone to this like this?
I thought it was just the opposite. Every transaction of bitcoin is in the blockchain, so clear paper trails will ensnare anyone foolish enough to attempt crime with it.
There is probably a lot of other people involved.
