Personally I'm all for it, but you can bet there be there will be a lot of opposition. But that's expected.
I've heard addiction medical specialists say that the actual chemical isomers which have been shown to help patients dealing with chemotherapy have been isolated and can be used without actually smoking pot or getting high. They just aren't used that much because other medications have been shown to be more effective.
