    I've always had respect for how Sweden handled their criminals and the push for their eventual rehabilitation. However, this is a bad idea! He's genetically predisposed to this type of behaviour, adopting a child in this man's situation is like waving a crack baggie infront of a drug addict.

      If you read the article you would know that the people making the choice had no clue of his previous crimes. Also the child he is adopting is his stepson which probably influenced their choirce even more. But I do think that he should be allowed to adopt anyways so I hope they'll change their mind.

        The fact that the child is related to him changes nothing. He is still a convicted child molester, and should not have custody over any children, ever.
