Too bad the record industry can't be killed.
They can be, but slowly.
I liked Grooveshark. It's was a nice website. The phone app was pretty good too (for subscribers).
In fact, I was listening to it whenever they shut down. Was about 1600 CST. Refreshed the page and they had a 'the panda ate our servers again...' message. Streamed songs from local media for the rest of the day. Wasn't until this morning that I learned they were gone for good.
They just released an updated HTML5 player and everything.
RIP grooveshark
Never used it but I heard great things from my friends
And it will change absolutely nothing...
