Hiya! :)

I have shortened rotator cuffs in my hips, and short achilles tendons. I didn't really understand this about myself until I was at college and my dance professor realized my shortcomings (that sounds harsh but she was actually very nice about it - after dancing for 15 years it was extremely frustrating that I couldn't even do splits!). My whole life, I haven't been able to sit cross-legged or on the floor at all because the circulation in my legs is completely cut off. Makes it very hard to get down on the floor and play with my son sometimes.

As a 5'2" person, thank you kindly! I often have to ask people to come "be tall" for me! :D

I would say that at least 80% of my friends and family have pseudonyms here in France. I just chalk it up to the fact that they take care to make it look close to a real name, or at least have a first and last name, even if they are sometimes hilariously fake. In contrast, I'm sure 100% of my American friends and family have their real names, yours truly included. Maybe it's a cultural thing?

Get woken up by 6 year old son, feed cat while he pees (the son, not the cat), then it's my turn, then I make breakfast for the two of us (husband can fend for himself). We eat in front of the computers (mother of the year). During the school year: wave off husband (he's a teacher), do my bathroom routine and get dressed, fight six year old to get dressed, walk him to school, walk to work. As I'm also a teacher, but in an adult formation center, and it's closed until September, we are way more relaxed in the mornings.

As someone that suffers from anxiety, the freedom of caring less and less what other people think of me has been a godsend! I am finally in a place where I like myself, which has been a long time coming.
