I'm very interested in this topic. Nice that it mentions so many sources to check out. Personally I think working with flexible work arrangements and autonomous teams in your organization is a good first step for organizations that want to flatten their stucture. What is important, in my opinion, is that schools recognize these trends and start training students in self-management (using management functions/roles to organize their own work).
