Would be interesting to know the performance impact of Windows 10's built-in screen recorder versus other solutions like DXtory or Nvidia Shadowplay.

If still want to do this with your Jabra Play and you're willing to do (and spend) a little extra, you could buy their replacement cable for $10. Actually, it might even be easier that way, as all you'll really be doing is shortening the cable by cutting out the middle chunk, splicing the wires of the two ends back together, and reinforcing the connection with hot glue/epoxy putty/sugru. Possibly no soldering necessary.
Edit: The nice thing about it in your case is you already have a Jabra Play.

Add bluetooth to your headphones
I've owned a pair of Urbanears Zinkens for a couple years now, and they've really grown on me. They sound alright, look great, and fit snug. I haven't had any reason to replace it, until Urbanears released a new product: the Plattan ADV Wireless, their first bluetooth headphone series. It filled me with want. However, I couldn't justify spending another $100 on new headphones, so I decided to make my own solution.

What servers will you guys be playing on? I'd like to join, but not if my being in South East Asia will ruin the pings for all of you!

The first hint I got of Laurie's piano playing was in the TV drama, House M.D. At first I thought it was just typical movie magic, the actor was just behind the instrument with his hands hidden and music was added in post. But as I paid more attention to the shots where we see House's hands, I realized, dude knows how to play. And play well.

Absolutely this. And for the uninitiated, social engineering is nothing new. One of my favorite perspectives on the matter is the autobiography, Ghost in the Wires, which details the social engineering exploits of Kevin Mitnick, who broke into telecommunications and computer systems back before the days of the internet.

Couldn't you just fly really fast counter-clockwise around the planet, and go back to the time you were in before you ended up in the future?

That's what I get for skimming over the already-short article. I completely missed "Named after the fossil hunter who found the bones," literally the third sentence in the article. Oops!
I agree with the LBT reboot. The Land Before The Land Before Time.

Thanks so much for the insight. I love that last sentence, and take it as a gentle reminder to all of us to remember to be human.

LinusTechTips is a great channel. Linus is funny, friendly, and approachable enough to be a pretty effective teacher regarding all things tech. I also highly recommend his companion channel, Techquickie. His video, "What is a Core i3, Core i5, or Core i7 as Fast As Possible," is something I still refer friends/family to to this day.

It's somewhat mindblowing to think that variations of "Ayy lmao" and "U wot mate?" could eventually become our future's version of "Shakespearean" English.

Only to learn after chronoporting that Nintendo went bankrupt in 2016, and the company only produced mobile games after that point.

That's awesome. Good luck on your piano lessons! As an amateur pianist myself, I can definitely say it's helped me gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of music in general. Thanks for the answers!

Learning how to swap out parts in your computer (desktop or laptop), which will eventually lead to building your own PC and save you money on incremental upgrades instead of replacing entire machines. If you've ever played with LEGO, doing this is kind of similar, only a bit more expensive (just a bit, goddamn those LEGO prices).

Thanks for answering. If I may ask a follow-up question, do you also know how to play any musical instrument, and do you feel that having the skill to play one helps in producing electronic music?

free refreshes will last between two and four years.
What is a refresh? And does this mean that after 2-4 years, I should expect to no longer receive updates/upgrades on my PC if I accept the free copy of Windows 10, which Microsoft insists is a full version and not a trial?
