I'm studying Japanese and while I knew most of the words here well... lets just say now I must learn all of the kanjis related to them thanks for posting
If you are just starting out with the language I would suggest picking up the Genki series books (first 2 mostly with workbooks), that is if you can afford it, I know a lot of people like to learn on a budget and the cost of the books is steep for most. But it is the absolute best way in my opinion to start.
I am going to a course given by the embassy it is only 22 $ the trimester and they provide us the materials too so it is pretty neat thanks for the suggestion though
