9 years ago+3 3 0Snapbuilders, how did you start worldbuilding?
Hello fellow builders!
I'm rather curious regarding why your "world" came into existence and what were your influences? Was it Role-Play game with friends? Are you writing a novel? Were you influenced by Lovecraft or Tolkien? Cook or Gaiman?
Tell us the story, not of your created world, but of how it came to be.

9 years ago+24 24 0Snapzu, which movies, books, songs, media in general, etc... influenced your life the most?
Off the top of my head, Jurassic Park (the 1993 movie, best movie eva'!) and the Star Wars IV, V and VI influenced me the most as I watched them very early in my childhood.
More recently the "The Black Company" books by Glen Cook and "Fallout: Equestria" by Kkat kinda formatted what books I have mostly read over the past 6 years.
If we get rather philosophical, The Myth of Sisyphus had a big imprint in me after I read it.

9 years ago+31 31 0Snapzu, what fascinates you?
The question might seem a bit large but it is basically that. What fact, event, paint, etc. fascinates you the most?
What fascinates me is Conway's game of life, a computer simulation with such simple rules that it seems stupid. But it is so much more, giving life to incredible patterns that keep fascinating me.

Love lost. Hope shattered.
Yet, a will unbroken.
A spirit unbent.
For I fight,
Not for me,
But for everybody else.
I will walk into the night,
With a smile,
Warm,
And bright.
A little snippet from a thing I write in my free time.
What do you have to share with us?

9 years ago+31 31 0Snapzu, what will be your next big purchase?
For me, it will be a new desktop rig to prepare for the sweet, sweet games coming later this year (Fallout 4, mon amour) and during winter.

9 years ago+6 6 0Hello, Everyone.
Hello,
RoMS's here, another new lad on snapzu.
Being a soon-to-be-23 French die-hard fan of any post-apocalyptic content, I expect to lurk /t/fallout more than I should. My other affinity topics being finance and business, I look forward to participating in a few debates and discussion with y'all.
To see you all here!
