    Agreed, it ends up being your word vs theirs. Even documented cases showing a citizens filming at the appropriate distance will be difficult to process because the police essentially has unlimited funds for litigation.

        PR or not, they are tapping into tax payer money and I don't see that arrangement changing anytime soon.
