Easy to jump to that conclusion, but doesn't mean someone should be dead because of it.

Probably has more to do with what is going on in that region anyway.

This type of thing happens a lot, and no one cares if you're white over there. We have grown up believing the fact that murder and other violent crimes are extremely rare, but that's not the case in many regions outside the safety of our society. There are places that are extremely dangerous, and one would be foolish to think traversing them would be safe.

When I was a kid, my neighbor at the time had a guard dog in his back yard. This beast of a dog was secured with a 10 foot chain that would almost reach the perimeter fence, but for the safety of passerby's it was a foot too short as not to bite some kid poking his hand through it. One summer a cat came along and decided to test out how far the chain goes, and after some investigating it calmly lied down just past the fence where the dog couldn't reach him. I watched for days as the cat would sneak up, lie down just out of the dog's reach and tan in the summer sun. I showed this to my friends out of pure astoundment at how brave that little bastard was, just inches away from a seriously huge set of teeth. A couple of days later the cat stopped coming around. At first I thought maybe it got bored, or possibly found another dog to torment, but I found out in the fall that the neighbor was doing some work in the backyard and took the dog off the chain... The poor thing never knew what hit him.

      True story.
