I'm not so much in favor of Trump, but I do so much enjoy watching the establishment getting kicked out. I hope it starts a trend of people getting out to vote the residing, entrenched, self-serving do nothings in Congress off of their gravy train. Right out on the street where they belong.

When I hear people say we need a constitutional convention it makes me worried because that's an extreme idea today, but one reason I'd love for it to happen would be for instituting term limits on congressional candidates to two terms per house at the most. The reason I say a constitutional convention is because those career politicians will never let it happen otherwise.

The establishment to me are the career politicians and their buddies that dictate how things are going and anybody that speaks out against it is taken out of committees and other things. It always makes me think of this quote in Dune by Frank Herbert, “Absolute power does not corrupt absolutely, absolute power attracts the corruptible.” Kind of like they had good intentions but they couldn't handle it once they got there.
