Yes, but it brings everyone else down around them. Friends, family.. all of that changes, you're not longer part of the everyday, of the normal.. They are now a part of the 1%, people look at them differently, talk behind their back.. No matter how much money they spread around, it will never be like it was again, and its not only in the good sense. This is the disturbing part, its a depressing scenario, it always happens. Its human nature.

When you win money, everyone expects you to share the wealth, people that know you think you owe them, you're expected to pay, to cover the tab, to pay for the gas, the restaurant bill, etc. It sucks, but that is the truth.
