This is actually a very good development healthwise. There is a very dark side to this story also, namely hunger. According this website, 44 million Americans face hunger. In the rural south it gets even worse, because there are a lot of people who do not have (or have hardly) any access to food. I'm not sure if it is a correct term, but does third world country ring a bell?
