Very cool.
Thank you! :-) It was a fun project. The people were friendly and hospitable. I had a good time at the waterside, there's a lot happening there. :-) Normally I can do this in one day, but they didn't want me to hurry. Who am I to disagree? :-) More of this. :-) Great weather also. :-)
Edit: and another thank you for the Platinum. :-)
What kind of paint do you use for that. I would imagine the weather must play some havoc on the art. It looks like a lot of fun....and beautiful weather!
I use my regular spraypaint for it, applied by spraycan and brushes. It is weatherproof and colourproof on its' own for about five years in normal conditions. This work has been fixated with regular varnish and will receive several layers of special ship varnish later on this month.

Awesome! Beautiful dog...and I see he brings his own stick with him!
Yeah, the dog is awesome. :-) She is the ship's guardian and for two days she kept away nosey people by just laying around and playing in her swimming-pool (she wrecks one every year). The people have a great friend with her. :-)
You have a great life brother! As many times as you think it's tough, and it is, you have a great life!
There are moments in life I can't complain about, indeed. :-) But I try to keep my head down and paint on. My Calvinistic roots shine through here and there. But not today. I am splashing a bit, just for the @#!& of it. One day of Bourgondic lifestyle. Integrating (for 15 years already!) in my beloved Belgium has its' perks. This afternoon I tried pretty much the best icecream in town ("tried" is an understatement, volume-wise) and now I'm off for duck & noodles. :-) Tomorrow it's back to the chaingang. ;-)
Is that a house boat?
Yup, they converted that ship to a boat to live on. Pretty luxurious on the inside I might add. :-)
