    Americans in particular need to watch this video, as you guys are always referring to the UK as "England", and yet calling the people of England "British" (which we are), but not calling Scottish people British (which they are too). This is a bit like referring to the USA as "California", yet calling the people of California "Americans" and the people of the other states by their individual state identities e.g. Texans, Arizonans, etc.

    It's also similar to how many people refer to the Netherlands as Holland. We need to all stop doing that too.

    But to be fair, many Brits get the whole UK/England thing wrong too. Even I did when I was growing up. I don't think I really understood what the UK was until I was a teenager.

        No worries. If it makes you feel any better, I used to think California and Texas were cities, that New York was the US capital, and the Alaska was an independent country.

        But then again, I also used to have my own religion where I worshiped the clouds. Only for about a day when I was about 10 years old though.
