I find it's not too bad, personally. I use a Q-tip and nail polish remover to do the bulk of the cleaning up, and I can quite often get it "good enough" with just a Q-tip - any extra teeny bits on my cuticle will often come off during a shower. Going in with a brush afterwards only adds about 5-10 minutes total if I'm being really finicky. I tend to do my nails while watching a movie - give it a try if you're bored :)
