    Well... it's their website to run into the ground after all. Honestly though, most of reddit likes to get all up-in-arms for a little while and then the next time a dank meme gets posted it goes out of their mind. Reddit can be a good resource if you stick to the niche subs, but as a whole community it's kind of garbage. It really doesn't help that many of the most popular subs are basically being turned into outposts for those with extraordinarily radical views to push their agendas, and it just so happens that their CEO subscribes to those ideals. Company culture will reflect that and so nothing will be done: as long as the hugbox is preserved and feels > reals, those in charge will insist everything is fine no matter how much water the ship is taking on.
