Iceland to write €24,000 off every household mortgage
THE ICELANDIC GOVERNMENT has announced that it will write off household mortgage debt in order to kickstart the economy. Under the plan, every household in the country will have €24,000 worth of debt written off.

Just think of what this would do to our economy. This is a great idea!
It is indeed,but it would never happen here.
If the majority decide to spend it on petty items like I would assume they would, probably not a lot.

President Kennedy, et-al, recognized the economy is stimulated from the bottom up,...........seemingly not this President,............too busy redistributing the wealth to his banking buddies.
Hmm, this actually sounds like a solid plan.
