Dang the yang: Can't we leap forward without falling back?

One of my posts that inspired this Tribe, actually, is at https://kcroes.wordpress.com/2015/08/03/dang-the-yang-can-we-leap-forward-without-the-back/.

Or here, if you prefer a hyperlinked word.

If this is your cup of tea, we're on the same team. Welcome.

So, you've never heard of the ascension?

Keep going, stranger. Or stay and learn.

Where can I find a list of Tribes?

I'd like to scroll down, selecting those in which I'm interested in my usual bam, bam, bam way.

    Be gentle with me

Actually, I'm a tough old bird, but sensitive enough to regret missteps and inadvertent slights. Like a bad dancer, so I'll try not to step on too many toes. I write science fiction and fantasy short stories (I'm not much for the long form, what with a limited attention span). I have a journalism background, so tend to be a news junkie. You remember journalism, right? That's when you found a story and chased it down with no regard to the financial or political ties of the alleged miscreant, or the source of your own income (advertising, subscriptions, ownership, salaries, etc.). Once upon a time, kids, people would pay you simply to ferret out the truth, no matter where it led. Someone named Jefferson once said that, if he had to choose between “a government without newspapers or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter." There's a concept: Newspapers without a government. Ah, newssssspaperrrrrs (said in the manner of Homer Simpson wistfully contemplating donuts).

I recall when Matt Drudge first received a press pass. I thought that was the end of journalism. Fortunately, I was partly wrong. Journalism exists, and I blog it now and then.

My sci-fi/fantasy books are sold through Amazon and other major sellers, and I have a YouTube channel(http://www.youtube.com/c/keithcroes/ "Fantasy Crow") that would welcome new subscribers, if they're of a mind.

Please let me know if I can help, or if it appears I'm already off track and getting in the way. I take directions well. Thank you.
