Where can I find a list of Tribes?
I'd like to scroll down, selecting those in which I'm interested in my usual bam, bam, bam way.

The tribe index is probably what you are looking for.
The Tribe Index doesn't show every Tribe on the site.
Best bet is to click on your profile image in the upper-right, then show all. Here you'll see the option to view all the "Top" Tribes as well as the "Up-and-Coming" Tribes.
