Ben Affleck Explains How DC Movies Are Different Than Marvel Movies
Basically, Affleck said: "“[DC] is more mythic, it is more grand in that way, and it is a little more realistic. Just by their nature, these films can’t be as funny or as quick or as glib as Marvel movies.” I really like that. What do you guys think?

I think the darker tone will make the DC movie universe really refreshing (as far as super hero movies go). Marvel is a lot of fun because it is very much like watching a comic book; it is a lot of fun. The DC movies (from what we have seen so far) bring a nice bit of realism, with somewhat more "believable" conflicts.
Can't wait for Batman v Superman!
Well, it seems like the better DC movies have the darker tones. That's just my opinion on it anyway.
I just wish that the darker tone didn't mean a washed out filter. Have you seen what Man of Steel looks like without all of the grey? It's gorgeous and feels far more like Superman.
