What secrets will unfold soon? :-)

I noticed this tree on my way to work today. Coming home from work I stopped by and took a shot of it.

I have only seen the Bearded Reedling a few times. This photo is from May 2014, where I was fortunate enough to get a shot at a male sitting close to my location. Wonderful experience and beautiful bird.

Another photo of the anemone illuminated by a sunbeam and with beetles having a feast - this time a close-up.

A sunbeam just hit the anemones where the small beetles where having a feast.

A photo from my trip to the Faroe Islands in 2011. The title seems appropriate for the way they live up there :-)

The insects are beginning to arrive. I was in a forest where there were many Large Bee-Flies who were foraging on the newly opened flowers. Quite interesting insect. Here it forages on a white anemone which there are also many of currently.

Soon the flowers will dominate :-)

To me spring is when the anemones blossom and the sun is again bringing warmth and light.

I wonder if something like this was the inspiration for the creators of Pac-Man :-) Another older picture while waiting for the season with butterflies and dragonflies to begin.

Again an older image. This one I re-edited so it is shown sideways in order to better appreciate and make more focus on the little common blue butterfly. It is one of my favorite butterflies.
