TBH, I started out as a typical weeaboo a long time ago, reading manga and watching anime. Over time, I became genuinely interested in the culture of Japan, and learned about Shintō mostly through the internet. Religion (and the accompanying history) has always fascinated me, however, as I simply love learning about and studying the beliefs of others.
