US oil falls below $50 a barrel
The US oil price fell below the symbolic threshold of $50 a barrel for the first time since April 2009, before finishing the day at $50.05. The price of Brent crude also fell on Monday, dipping 6% to $53 a barrel. The price of both Brent crude and US oil, known as West Texas Intermediate crude, have now lost more than half of their value since mid-2014.

Russia wont collapse, it will go into economical hibernation for 10-15 years though.

Americans Are Buying Less-Efficient Cars as Gasoline Prices Dive,not surprised by that. I cannot believe anyone would think these prices for gas will stay this low. Thanks for sharing the link.

Prices have been artificially high for a long time. Nothing like real competition to break a price-fixing industry.
Now if diesel would go down.
