Is there no end to the good that gallon-size plastic zipper bags do for us?
It's said you can use them for sous-vide (water bath) cooking. I am somewhat dubious; I'll pay the extra for the properly rated vacuum bags. But even so, yes, they may well eclipse sliced bread.
