This is despicable. I don't want to sound preachy here but this is exactly why people used to boycott things.
Just don't buy a smartTV and if you do? Do the research, make sure its not a company that is tracking you. Those companies will get more money and keep doing what they are doing. The Big Guys will loose out and when they see their SmartTV division has flopped they'll be able to see why.
