India blocks more than 800 porn sites
Internet service providers in India have blocked access to more than 800 pornographic websites, reportedly at the order of the government.

800 sites, huh. That's practically all of them.
If I got the math and stats right, there's about 26 million porn site on the web, since porn sites are about 4% of the web (and there's almost 500 million sites, stats from 2012).
So really...They've just removed a drop...in a really really big bucket.

Because blocking 0,019% of the pornography on the internet does help. What a waste of resources!
It's a good thing governments use our money so delightfully wisely and efficiently otherwise!
Good idea, let's block the porn sites in a country where rape is already rampant, so these types only have one true outlet and that is to live out their fantasies which otherwise would have been satisfied by watching porn online.
