I don't think it's just Bronwyn, although I think she does somehow view herself as some sort of cross between Margaret Thatcher and the Queen. It will be interesting if the finance dept. does a full breakdown of her travel expenses and exposes any inconsistencies that would indicate private use of taxpayer money as well as the indulgences that have already been brought to light.

Yes, there is definitely a feeling that this is just the tip of the iceberg. I wonder whether the enthusiasm for her to go, from both sides it seems, is a fear that if it drags on any longer there will be more scrutiny.
I agree. The elitism amongst our public servants is outrageous. They forget they are meant to be working for the taxpayer -not living it up at the expense of the taxpayer. And the sense of entitlement and exploiting public funds is rife through Government Departments at all levels.
