So, I'm going into cryo-sleep - can I trust you to pull me out next August?

When we pull you out of cryo-sleep, we'll have the three seashells waiting for you.

On a slightly more related note, this movie looks awesome. I can't wait to see the new Joker.

Me either, he doesn't look like the joker he looks like his right hand henchman.

Doesn't really feel like the Joker from the trailer, but I guess we'll see when the movie comes out or in future trailers how he's portrayed.

Are you sure you don't want me to wake you up in March for Batman v Superman?

Crap, and Star Wars. Yeah, just pull me out for the big ones, then toss me back in.

I wish it were a possibility. I would do that for so many good movies coming out. Like Star Wars and the new tron.

You're gonna miss The Force Awakens and Batman v Superman though

For the curious. The song in the background is a version of The Bee Gees "I Started the Joke"

They did a similar thing to what was done in age of ultron with 'No strings on me'. Loving it.

Wow, I don't know what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn't this. Consider me pumped. I love this dark, gritty take on superheroes. Between this and the new trailer for Batman v. Superman, I really like the route that DC is going. They're distancing themselves from MCU by making their world a little bit darker. A little bit more 'real' (don't know if that's the best word). There is a littler overlap in the case of Netflix's Daredevil, but I really do hope that DC remains with this grittier version. I don't really know anything about the Suicide Squad lore but this has definitely peaked my interests!

There is that overlap, and I love it. Daredevil had a perfect balance of fun and gritty and is my favorite anything to come out of the MCU as of late.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what Jared Leto does with The Joker character. I know he's getting a lot of hate from fans of the previous version, but it wouldn't be the first time that happened.

Joker's one of those rare characters who've been portrayed in so many different ways, in film and comics, that there's really no "right" way to do it. We've seen everything from goofy Ceasar Romero on one side of the spectrum, to faceless Hannibal Lecter on the other.

We all have our favorites (Mark Hamill!), but I'm still excited when I see a new take on The Joker.

This is off-topic, but I was curious how Zeus and Endymion were related and did a quick search.

Zeus had taken Enydmion to Olympus, to live with the gods. Endymion saw and fell in love with Hera, Zeus' wife and consort. Endymion was determined to seduce or the goddess. Zeus discovered the impetuous mortal's plan. Endymion thought he was making love to Hera, when he was actually having sex with a phantom, made out of cloud. Catching Endymion in the act, Zeus then cast Endymion out of Olympus, and into Hades.

Same here. I'm really looking forward to it. He gives off this really interesting vibe I can't quite put my finger on. Kinda punk, but not really at the same time.

Loving the trailer. Although I have some concerns about the movie itself. How are they going to go about introducing so many characters and their stories to those who are unfamiliar with the DC franchise? It'll be pretty difficult to square that alongside making a movie that can entertain all the comic book fans. Plus it seems strange (at least to me) that you just pop into a movie and the villains are just already in prison without us seeing them prior to being in prison, unless you're a comic book fan of course.

Look i'm going to be honest here. I used to love DC, I was a fan and backed them up when people talked shit. But when DC pulls this type of stunt with the joker looking like an idiot and having tattoos that literally say "HAHAHAHAHA" I don't really feel like backing them up anymore. I've concluded my days as a DC fan a long time ago. The thing that I hate the most is that as a company they only focus on two idiots. Batman, and Superman. I mean, come the fuck on. THEY LITERALLY HAVE A WHOLE PLETHORA OF INTERESTING SUPER HEROES. There's green lantern, there's aquaman (yeah even if some people hate him, the new 52 reboot is fucking awesome) and Jason Momoa being Aquaman is going to be great. Let's not forget the ever awesome Batwoman of New 52 who declined batman's offer of officially joining the batfam 'cause she wanted to work alone. She deals with all the supernatural stuff that happens around Gotham. Also, there should be a good Wonder Woman reboot too so people start taking her seriously.

This post got too long I know, I just, I used to be emotionally connected to DC but nowadays all they ever do is cashcow the fuck out of Batman and Superman and yeah they're cool or whatever but it gets tiresome after awhile. That's why people stop reading comics, 'cause they don't want to get back to the same crap all the time. Even if they change the arcs, or add new storylines, or create "multi-verses" it's still the same.

Ugghh, that music. I love it. So haunting! I wasn't even aware of this movie - not huge on comics either - but this trailer has completely sold me on it. Excited for Margot Robbie, I had a huge crush on her on the sadly very short-lived PanAm series.

The statement they released on Facebook:

"Warner Bros. Pictures and our anti-piracy team have worked tirelessly over the last 48 hours to contain the Suicide Squad footage that was pirated from Hall H on Saturday. We have been unable to achieve that goal.

Today we will release the same footage that has been illegally circulating on the web, in the form it was created and high quality with which it was intended to be enjoyed.

We regret this decision as it was our intention to keep the footage as a unique experience for the Comic Con crowd, but we cannot continue to allow the film to be represented by the poor quality of the pirated footage stolen from our presentation."

SDCC is the unique experience. We live in an era where exclusives like this aren't going to be shown for small crowds only. Their fanbase is largely on the internet, so having it online would be the better option anyway. Have an early showing for those at SDCC, but then release it online. Not having it online won't stop pirates from putting it there

I don't want to wish the next year away, but this trailer has made me impatient in a way I wasn't expecting!
