Now that this article talks about it, I'm guilty of the whole bruised fruit thing. My mind says I'm paying the same price if I get the beat up one or the crisp unblemished one and I always go for the unblemished one. If there was a store like this near me, I'd be willing to pick up some of the will go bad tomorrow like items and cook a weeks worth of lunches in one go or dinners for that matter and freeze them until needed. I've never thought about the food that I don't buy that others also don't get and then it gets thrown out.
